Power 90

So, Carlin and I have committed ourselves to Power 90.

We are in our second week.

We stop eating 3 hours before bedtime, have cut out all junk food, eat whole grains, have only one serving, and get up to workout at 6:30am six days a week.

What sold me on the program was the healthy diet. It doesn't restrict what you eat or how much you eat, but guides you into healthy eating decisions and informs you about appropriate portion sizes and explains why some food are better than others.

It's kicking our butts into shape (literally, you do kicks to workout your butts and thighs) and I'm officially sore.

Hopefully in 82 more days I will have some amazing before and after pictures to show you.

I lost 11 lbs. in a week. Seriously. But that's only really 4.2% of my body weight. A lot less than normal-mass folks.

We're doing P90x...it's kicking our butts too.

Aub, how many butts do you have? just wondering? Like you need to lose any weight. Plus don't lose your ghetto booty. That's what make's you look good in your jeans!

Wow, go you! I'm such a pansy when it comes to all things exercise-related.

On a positive note, I got up at 6:30 and ran this morning for the first time in like 5 years. It's a start, right?

Sister. You WILL have amazing before and after pictures. We have p90X and I want to start it up again... It KICKS my butt... and that's just the warm up! :)

Whew! Just thinking of it makes me sweat! ;) I would never have thought you would need to lose anything, but I see why anyone would want to tone up, especially after having babies. Good lucK!!
