Yep, it's a bowl full of rice, and gasp!, vegetables!
And now see this:

Yep, it's an empty bowl (mostly) of rice and vegetables.
No, I didn't throw any of this food out. Samuel ate it all. How did I get my kid to do this?
I let him help me cook dinner. He gets so excited to try the food he has prepared he will eat whatever is put in front of him (mostly).
I'm not sure how long this phase will last, but I always have marinara sauce or ketchup as a back-up. :)

Oooo, I'm jealous! I'm kids prepare nearly every dinner, etc w/me and they still won't touch it w/a ten-foot pole, especially Ezra. :P
Way to go Mama!
My boys really enjoy cooking with me, too. It's a fun way to show them some of what Mom does.
Now if I could only get them to clean their plates like Samuel did....
Way to go!! Yay for figuring out how little Samuel ticks...that's usually most of the battle. :)
Woo hoo! Now the only challenge that is left is getting him to wash his plate. This step might take 20+ years, so have fun! ;)
