It's freakin' hot outside. My kids are mischievous by nature. They have to entertain themselves somehow.
Soap and water people. I give up. (and just so you know, soap foams as you try to clean it off counters, floors, furniture, and other such things).
On the other hand, I converted Samuel's bedroom into a playroom and stuck the beds in Lillian's room. The playroom is heaven on earth and they can play and make a mess to their hearts content.
We haven't decided if we like the sharing a sleeping area thing yet...
I briefly considered cleaning the playroom in order to take pictures... but remember I give up. :)

The energy of these two in tandem could power half of Norman. Now to get them on grid-connected treadmills.....
We've found that staggering their bedtimes (sometimes)helps to make sure that they actually go to sleep instead of playing together at night. There are still some nights where bedtime is an epic fail, but it works more nights than it doesn't.
ring,ring: Hello,
Samuel tell grandma what you just did.
I did that!
Don't point, grandma can't see. Tell her what you did.
I made a waterfall. You did. Yes right here. Samuel tell grandma where the water is. It's on the floor!
Grandma is heard laughing because mommy used to play in the bathroom too.
What comes around goes around!
Love the play room idea! That was clever thinking, Mama. My youngest two share a room, and sometimes getting them to sleep goes off without at hitch,,, and sometimes not. I usually result to staggering their bedtimes if thats the case. Good luck!
ps I feel like basking in cold water all day every day lately too, I don't blame the littles for their romp in the bathroom sink!
